Just a note to bring you up to date on Morfa Dyffryn beach. Chris and I were on the beach yesterday ( Friday 2nd Sept). The weather was glorious and the sea was calm. There were quite a few textiles around the boardwalk entry to the beach from the public carpark. When we arrive at approx 12-30pm there were still a few spaces left in the carpark but when we left at 4-00pm there were a number of cars parked on the approach road.
Previous sites have suggested parking in the Morfa Dyffryn Holiday Estate carpark. This is inconsiderate and the owners will remove cars that are not associated with the holiday home site (be warned).
Previous sites have also suggested that the naturist beach starts at the ruined gun inplacement, this was removed early in 2004. The limits of the site are designated by white notice boards which clearly warn wandering textiles that they will encounter naturists(what a dreadful thought).
Friday was good as there were approx 20-25 couples at the southern end of "our" section and all the single guys at the northern end. There was an obvious strong prescence of gays and much to Chris's amusement a full complement of poseurs strutting their stuff. Who are they out to impress?
Just as we were leaving a solitary mature BBW arrived and from the the milky white skin not a regularl sun worshiper. If she logs into this site please let us know who you are as you are very welcome to join us (that is if you wish to do so).
Morfa Duffryn is still the best official naturist beach in the UK. lets keep it clean, keep out of the dunes and lets have more couples.
